We've finished decorating Jace's room and are SOOOOO ready for him to be here. Jacqui, the kids and I can't wait. We are pleading to him through her stomach to come out. The last few weeks for Jacqui have been pretty miserable. She started out with a cold and after she got better her neck and hips got out of whack and she ended up being super dizzy and puking. All is well now,

she went to the chiropractor (they have a pregnant lady table to lay on) and he put her back in place for now.

I've posted pictures of Jace's room. Click on the above image to go the picture gallery. Hopefully my next entry will be about JACE BEING BORN! Check back soon for Jace stats!

The addition is pretty much complete and Jace finally has his own room! I have a few small things to wrap up, but the BIG jobs are done and the baby furniture is moved in.  Whew.... That's what you call cutting it close! Jacqui, me, the kids, Mom and Dennis assembled and moved in all his furniture on Thanksgiving after our Thanksgiving dinner. It was pretty cool to do it as a family. Now that the work is winding down and I don't have so much construction to think about I am getting really excited and anxious for him to come.

I've posted new tummy and addition pictures in the picture gallery. We have a few decorations to add to Jace's room before we take take and post pictures of his fully decorated room. We used a cowboy theme, it's really cool! Yeeeehaaaaaaaw! Check back soon for the little buckaroo's room pix...

Welp, we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and have hope we may actually complete this nightmare before Jace gets here!  Although, he keeps making me think he's going to show early...  We're just getting ready to do the woodwork tomorrow and Brent basically did all the painting in one day (yesterday).  It looks great!  He did a wonderful job as usual.  Dennis (Brent's Mom's boyfriend), is going to help Brent with the woodwork, so that'll be nice and quicker than doing it himself.  The carpet gets put in 2 days before Thanksgiving and then we'll be done with contractors - Yeehaw!!!  There'll just be little stuff to do after that, but at least I'll be able to put the stuff in the babies room.  I don't have any updated pics right now, but I'm sure we'll have some soon.  So, check back and keep your fingers crossed that Jace stays put until Dec. 15th!  :o)

Well, it's been awhile since I last updated and a lot has happened.  The house has come quite away now and should be done by the first of Dec.  We have sheetrock and closets and siding and stuff.  There are PICTURES in the gallery of the current state of the house.  I've also had my baby shower now and got lots of great stuff!  Still need to go shopping and get some little things though.  But if Jace decided to come now, we'd be okay (although Brent would have a breakdown)!  I'm doing fine, just getting really big and tired.  There is a new TUMMY pic in the gallery as well.  The doctor says things are great and Jace will probably be about 7lbs.  He's still extremely active and tends to get the hiccups at least once a week.  After our next appointment we'll be going weekly, which means it's getting close!!!  :o)  That's it for now, I'll try to be better about adding stuff more frequently.  BTW~For those of you who don't know, you can reply to these postings and the words in blue capitals are hyperlinks.

Well, today was a good day...aside from the fact that the framer didn't show up AGAIN!!!  Since our last update a lot has happened.  We actually have stairs now and the roof is done, shingles and all.  Which Brent managed to do all by his lonesome!  The electrician also came during the week and got most of the wiring done.  Today we got a different plumber to come and finish things up for us.

Now we actually have running water upstairs again after a week without and the washing machine is working... WOOHOO!!!  Brent got the outside ready for siding today and good ol' Wayne showed up to help out and they got the windows in too!  That's the latest for now I guess. Stay tuned...

Well, it's happened....my belly button has officially disappeared and is now pretty much flat with my tummy.  There's a new TUMMY PIC in the picture gallery.  I finally broke down and took my belly button ring out and put in a navel retainer.  :o(  It's basically a clear acrylic curve that will keep the whole open until I can put the ring back in.  I think my ring may have been the only reason I still had a belly button - it was holding it together!  :o)  Other than that there's not much new.  Brent is losing weight from working so much on the house though!  It's coming along slowly but surely and he's doing a great job!  Hopefully the weather keeps cooperating until he finishes the roof!!!

Last night we went to Fetal Foto to get pictures of Jace.  It's this new technology were they take 3D pictures and 4D video in color of your baby.  It was kind of expensive, but it was really cool to get to see him!  He didn't cooperate super well and moved alot which made it hard to get good shots of him.  Plus it's kind of squished in there now since he only has 10 weeks left.  The cord was right in front of his face and his arm was along the other side, so the pics are hard to see too
much of him. We did get to watch him do sucking motions and he kept opening his mouth and sticking out his tongue! We also saw his eyes open and him yawn. Here is one of the 3D ones in color. The thing to the left is his hand covering his eye which he moved is why it looks weird and the thing on the right is the placenta. The worm looking thing on the bottom left is the cord. See more pictures in the PICTURE GALLERY!

The other night I got REALLY BAD false labor pains!  So bad, that I couldn't even get up off the couch!  It was a little scary because Jace isn't done cookin' yet, so as much as we're excited to see him he needs to wait (not to mention his suite isn't ready yet)!  :o)

He makes my tummy look like there's an alien in there now with as much movement it makes.  Most the day it's moving all over the place.  Jace's favorite is to kick his Daddy's butt!  When I snuggle up to Brent at night he kicks and kicks him in the rear.  It appears he's a little awnry like his dear ol' Dad already!  ;O)

In preparation for Jace we've been adding onto the house. Above the garage we are adding a 590 square foot room. Three quarters will be a family room and the other quarter will be Jace's new room. I've been helping the framers get the framing done before the rain gets here. So far so good, it should be dried in by Monday night!

Welcome to Jace Daniel Strange's brand-spankin-new website! Mom & Dad are anxious to bring the little one into the world and share his life with friends and family on the web. Jace is due on December 15th, so don't expect many pictures of Jace until then! The site is still “in the works” so visit often to see the improvements.
